este juego es increíble, las mejores visuales que he visto en mi vida. No puedo ni hablar de la historia porque es genuinamente tan buena y original que podrían sacar una serie de libros a partir de esto.

This game astonishes one with amazing visuals.  We are startled by the grotesqueness of the images at first, but the atmosphere is so compelling that we are practically obliged to advance.

It is a brooding, rotting and pestilent world . All of Othilie's stories are hauntingly beautiful and proof of her unparalleled genius. She has projected all her sufferings and twistedness into characters, but these have slowly gained a life of their own, germinating a deep resentment towards her for creating them so wicked. Each of them speak with an astounding self-awareness. The fatality they suffer is pitiful, and they know it.

It's the rebellion of these characters against their own creator, the absolute degradation of Othilie's mind, and the leading to its inevitable dissolution that makes up this story.

We are observers, readers that have returned to these novels seeking for something else, yet we get the feeling that we have arrived too late to save anybody.  The sick and devouring loath has dissipated into subdued resentment and seeped into the fleshy walls of the crumbling place.

The emotions conveyed by this game are extremely powerful, some sentences (and images) I believe deserve a prize. The literary references and inspirations are perfectly adequate, the music is simply endowed with regret and grief, as the whole story is.

Fantastic game. Thank you Thibault Rivera.

What a gorgeous game. I saw a short BigGaming64 made about it and knew I wanted to play it for myself, and I'm so glad I did.

Themes of authors agonizing about their relationship with and responsibility to their creations rarely resonate with me; I think it often comes across as self-aggrandizing. Not here. I genuinely felt for everyone involved, including Othilie. Ivan, though -  even in a black and white looping clip, he just about jumped off the screen. Because of course he did - he was her best character.

And that's just the writing! I could go on about the art! The music! The atmosphere! There were one or two typos/mistranslations, but given Othilie has lost her mind I think they're forgivable.

I will have awful dreams because of this, excellent experience, highly recommend.

An amazing game about how a tortured mind of an writer deteriorating slowly and how she channeled her suffering in stories but more and more she looses her grip on reality, charaters come to life but are tortured by her frustrations. As a writer, i felt heard. Amazing visuals

this games, is more then words on a screen. it's a world of things that, while i can't be in, make me feel like the people were twisted in a fantasy made up by the author. they want to be in a sense, there own way. when i played this i got reminded by me, who at one point wanted to be an author. one of the things i wanted to write was "exclusive dream" , a world of a child with a bad neighborhood and the stuff of his parents. at the end of it he couldn't take it anymore and comitted suicide by hanging. the end was like the the characters could rest, as the troment ended and they could just be, as i quote "just text in a book". and that is it i got to say. have a nice day, bye!

P.S. i saw one of the characters and i knew what is was. the one on the side of the mountin with his son in his arms. ivan the terrible

will this games sountrack and songs go into music sevices like spotify?

Very impressive. Projects like this are why I love indie gaming. So much soul and sense, even if I can't decode it all, but at the same time it seems that it's not needed. The story lives in itself and gives us a glimpse of the author's inner world without exposing it straightforwardly. The art direction is also memorable, reminds me of the collages I used to make in my younger years, and it's amazing how organic everything looks. Great job, Thibault! Will be waiting for the next projects!

thank you so much, it's so nice to hear that it resonated with you on that level. collages are great, we should bring them back!

Quite lovely.

thanks!

This is one of the best digital experiences I’ve ever had. The design oozes both beauty and woe.. I found myself both loving and feeling terrified by the experience. The surreal confusion of it all, the grotesque sound effects, the digital walls bit-rotting in real time.. it’s so complete in its intention. Thank you so much for sharing this with us; we would be fools to not consider ourselves lucky.

P.S. Please let me pay for a downloadable version of this. <3

Incredible mood, this feels like a dive into the mind of a despairingly brilliant writer.

Hopefully your mind isn’t too close to this yet, Thibault. Great, great game!

Breathtaking metagothic point and click. A mnemonic oubliette opens up beneath your feet in the bestseller section. A new high point int he obscure world of visceracrticism!
